Places you should visit in Visakhapatnam

Today I am going to show the beauty of Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam is the financial capital of the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. The city is the administrative headquarters of Visakhapatnam district and Eastern Navel Command. Do anyone know the nicknames of Visakhapatnam? I will tell at the end. Let's go to our countdown.

Kailasagiri

• The first one on the list is Kailasagiri, it is the one of the best reason to visit Visakhapatnam. Which is located on top of the mountain.

• On the top of the mountain, you will see Lord Shiva and Parvathi statues.

• On the top of Visakhapatnam, there are 2 specialties

1. Ropeway

   2.Train on mountain 

• And attracts tourists with a blissful weather. 

INS Kursura (S20)

• INS Kursura created a history by playing a key role in Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. No Indian navy officer will forget about it. Later, she participated in navel exercises with other nations and made many goodwill visits to other countries. After service of 31 years, she was preserved as a museum for public access on Rama Krishna Beach in Visakhapatnam

Ramakrishna Beach (RK Beach)

• Ramakrishna beach, when we say that name the first thing will strike into the Visakhapatnam peoples is "the cool breezes and romantic weather". Just imagine walking with your soulmate at the beach, how's that feeling! Actually, words will not suit for explaining those feelings.

• On night times it will be more active then morning times. Just take a look at it.

Dolphin's Nose

• Dolphin's nose is located at RK beach. RK beach mountain looks like a Dolphin's nose, that's why it is named like that

Indira Gandhi Zoological Park

• The Zoological Park is named after the Former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. In an area, 625 acres the zoological park is located among the Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary of Eastern Ghats. There are nearly 80 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles in a zoo.

• Here don't confuse Visakhapatnam and Vizag both are same. In this zoo white tigers are famous.

Tenneti Park

• Tenneti Park is the first children park and oldest park. Not only old one but, also the one of the best park in Visakhapatnam. It is located beside Sea Shore of Bay of Bengal.

Araku Valley

• Araku, for this I am not getting words to express the beauty of araku, here pictures will talk a lot more than words.

Borra caves

• Borra means holes in Odia language. Located in Araku valley, with hill range elevation varying from 800-1300 mts. This caves are basically karstic limestone and ranging in size irregularly shaped stalactites and stalagmites.

Dr. Ramanaidu Film Studios

• Dr. Ramanaidu Film Studio in 33 acres space off the Visakha-Bhimili beach road is one of the film shooting destination. Not only as a shooting spot but, also as a picnic spot.

Thotlakonda Buddhist Complex

• Thotlakonda is situated on a hill near Bheemunipatnam about 9.3 Miles from Visakhapatnam. A hill on sea cost with the salubrious weather was an ideal attraction for the Buddhist monks to build a monastery complex here.

This is just an intro about Visakhapatnam, there is a lot to say. By the way, the nicknames are Goa of East Cost, the City of Destiny, Jewel of East Cost...
