New Search Console Described
Google has released a beta version of the new
Search Console. It is released few months ago only for preferred and eligible users, but now it is open source to everyone in the market.
The new search console was rolled out gradually and it will be notified when they receive access. Still now in beta version of search console will live side by side with the old and new version. Users can switch them in navigation menu bar.
As it was the most awaited feature, property owners should be happy to know the public beta has the same 16 months of data that was available in the private beta. In addition to that few title's were also renamed as, Search Performance Report previously it is as Search Analytics Report. The search console is completely rebuilt. It has been designed with a renewed focus on helping site owners to verify, identify, fix and pending issues.
With the latest Index Coverage (previously Index Status), AMP Status - Accelerated Mobile Pages Status, and Job Posting Reports all this is instructed to property owners in new Search Console Illustrated blow-by-blow.
Index Coverage Report
In this New Search Console's index coverage report Google has added "issue tracking functionality" feature. Which will alerts the site property owners when new issues were detected. This new search console will then provide information on fixing a specific complication, as well as verify when it has been fixed correctly.
By acknowledgement in fixing issues in webpage can often involves a team of individuals, Google has added export button within the index coverage report. Now a direct link to a specific issue can be export/share with whomever it concerns.
AMP and JOB Postings
