Founder: Larry Page and Sergey Brin

Google Birth Place: Is any one know that the world wide user friendly search engine is born in a "Garage". In early stage it is named as BackRub. After some brainstorm, they go with Google.

Facebook
Founder: Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook Birth Place: In Harvard Dorm Room, the birth of Facebook is related to Zuckerberg's appetite for hacking.

YouTube

Founder: Chad Hurley

You Tube Birth Place: In his office after that fateful dinner party, where Hurley and Chen wanted to create a simpler way to share their video's of the night, they immediately went to work at the office. "In February, they started developing the product. In may, we had our public preview. And December, we officially launched YouTube". By that time they are serving over 3 million videos a day.

Over next 2 years, Harley & his childhood friend, Arthur Davidson, built their motor-bicycle out of their friend's 10 by 15-foot wooden shed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was the equivalent of a garage because they didn't have cars.

LinkedIn Birth Place: In the living room. LinkedIn was officially founded in 2003. This site was launched on May 5th, when the 5 founders invited about 350 of their most important contacts to join. At the end of the first month in operation, LinkedIn had a total of 4,500 members in the network.
