Today I am posting info for the first time about Digital Marketing and modules in it. Let us start with digital marketing.

Digital Marketing

  Digital marketing is also known as Data-Driven Marketing. It is a term for the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, social media advertising, social media marketing, email marketing and many other digital mediums.
  In digital marketing there are the number of modules and strategies but, I am pointing out the main modules and a brief description about them. In future, i will make a complete brochure about them.

1. Content Marketing

  Content marketing is a form of marketing focused on creating, publishing and distributing content for a targeted audience online. It is often used for the business purpose or for the public purpose or in order to:
  • Attract audience get attention & generate leads.
  • Expand their customer database.
  • To see peak stages in online sales.
  • Create Brand Awareness.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of increasing visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine result page (SERP). If the website is placed in search engine's unpaid result, often referred as "natural", "organic" result. The leading search engines were Google, Bing, and Yahoo!
  There are few methods to get the website in SERP, they are:
  • Social Bookmarking.
  • Directory Submission.
  • Search Engine Submission.
  • Document Submission.
  • Blog Submission and much more On-Page & Off-Page Techniques.

3. Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

  Search Engine Marketing is a form of Internet marketing that involves the promotion of a website by increasing visibility in search engine results page (SERP) primarily through paid advertising. SEM may incorporate Search Engine Optimization (SEO), which improves the strength and rewrites the content and architecture to achieve a higher ranking in search engine results pages to enhance Pay per click (PCP) listing.

4. Social Media Marketing (SMM)

  Social Media Marketing (SMM) is the use of social media platforms and websites to promote a product or service. Mainly this social media marketing helpful in creating Brand Awareness. These social media platforms have their own built-in data analytics tools, which helps the company to track their progress.
  The impact of social media results in a big size, your firms of your post should allow customers and internet user to post user generated content e.g., Online comments product/service reviews, etc., These social media marketing influence the people on social media. Techniques are in this are crucial, as it provides business with targeted audience. This SMM targeted social media's were:

  • My space and many more...

5. Email Marketing

  Email marketing is a n act of sending electronic, commercial message. typically to a group of people to advertising, request business, and is meant to built loyalty, trust, or brand awareness. This marketing emails can be sent to a purchased lead list or to interact with a customer. For sending the email in bulk, there are few email marketing services are in progress, they are:

6. Web Analytics

  Web Analytics is the measurement, collection, analysis, and reporting of web data for purpose of understanding and optimizing web usage. However, web analytics is not just a process for measuring web traffic but can be used as a tool for business and marketing research. Web analytic tools were:

  • Spring Metrics Analytics Tool.
  • Woopra Analytics Tool.
  • Clicky Analytics Tool.
  • Mint Analytics Tool.
